Scaling Shared Decision-Making

Masterclass

Learn how system theory can be applied to the scaling of shared decision-making (SDM) implementation and cross-cultural perspectives.

What you will learn

Implementing SDM across a country is a year long process. There are no tricks or shortcuts. Yet every long journey begins with the first step, preferably in the right direction, with a good map and the flexibility to navigate obstacles.

This masterclass will focus on two points:
1. How can Systems Theory be applied to scaling of SDM Implementation efforts?
◊ How can change in systems be fostered?
◊ What are the motivators?
◊ Who are the actors?
◊ What can be learnt from the Kiel Model in Germany?

2. Exchange between participants in a cross-cultural perspective
◊ Which challenges are general and which are country-specific?
◊ Which solutions can inspire others?
